This bespoke lodge, built in 2020, is a visual delight featuring a curvaceous oak rail staircase, handsome pillars, and satin-finished cedar beams. The open-plan living area leads to two bedrooms, each with beautiful en-suites. Nestled in a field amidst the Shropshire hills, the lodge opens onto an expansive decking area with bifold doors that seamlessly connect the indoors with the vibrant outdoor scenery, including a warm hot tub.
Sunlight pours into the stylish rooms, highlighting the cosy furnishings. The living area features a log burner, perfect for winter days. The eclectic kitchen, with chunky wood and midnight blue cupboards accented by copper, is well-equipped. The master bedroom boasts a honey-hued king-size oak four-poster bed with plush bedding and bifold doors that open onto a balcony with mesmerising views. Its en-suite is luxurious, featuring double rainfall shower heads, two sinks, and heated floors. The second bedroom is equally inviting, with a versatile bed that can be either a king-size double or two singles. This room also has a well-designed en-suite with heated floors and an impressive shower.
Situated in a field abundant with fruit blossoms in spring and leafy woods in summer, the lodge exudes a serene, bewitching charm. Guests access the lodge via a private track lined with oak and sycamore trees, leading to a gravel parking area and a well-lit footpath. The property includes nine acres of private woodland with walking tracks and a field bordering the River Onny.
Firewood, kindling, and hot tub use are complimentary, with towels and bed linen provided. A welcome pack includes tea, coffee, sugar, milk, butter, eggs, and a homemade loaf of bread, along with essentials like toilet rolls, laundry detergent, and washing-up liquid.
What We Love:
