Per Mare Per Terram is a cosy cabin offering stunning views of Loch Broom and the surrounding Munros from its secluded location atop Braes in Ullapool. The cabin combines tranquility with scenic beauty, providing an ideal retreat regardless of the weather. Inside, it is well-equipped with a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, and excellent Wi-Fi. Additionally, it features a shower room and a modern composting toilet.
The village of Ullapool is approximately a 15-minute downhill walk away, offering a variety of shops, restaurants, cafes, and leisure activities. The return journey is steep, though a local taxi service only charges £5 for a drop-off. Alternatively, a network of paths from the cabin leads over Ullapool Hill to the village, showcasing fantastic views of the village, the sea, and the Summer Isles.
Situated at the top of a garden, the cabin is accessed via a steep, winding path, making it unsuitable for wheelchair users or those with mobility issues due to stepped areas and the ascent’s steepness. The cabin can sleep a maximum of two guests in a king-size bed. French doors open onto a decking area, perfect for enjoying sunsets. Stone steps from the decking lead to a small seating area ideal for barbecues, especially on clear, starlit nights.
Per Mare Per Terram offers a perfect blend of comfort, natural beauty, and seclusion, ideal for a peaceful getaway.
