The Secret Snug is ideally positioned for exploring Cornwall. Situated in Trethowel, it provides excellent access to both North and South Coasts, renowned for their surfing beaches and water sports. Nearby trails lead to attractions like St. Austell, The Eden Project, Pentewan, and Mevagissey, offering ample opportunities for walking and biking.

Parking is conveniently located above the hut with a private entrance. Guests use a compost toilet adjacent to the hut. The surrounding field and a gate leading into the woods offer further exploration, including a scenic walk to Mennacuddle Well.

Guests should note that heating the hot tub is a manual process, requiring 3-4 hours and regular addition of logs, with wood supplied for the first night. Additional wood can be purchased for £6 a net, or guests may bring their own. The property has a cocker spaniel, and friendly neighbouring dogs may occasionally visit.
