Looking for a serene countryside escape from your hectic schedule? The Hut offers a perfect retreat. The self-contained Shepherd’s Hut features a king-sized bed, shower, toilet, heated towel rail, oven, hob, fridge with small freezer, wardrobe, table, bench seats, and radiator.

Outside, guests can relax in the Swedish bath, available for a small extra fee, and enjoy picturesque views with a glass of bubbly or a good book. The patio is equipped with sun loungers, a table, and chairs for alfresco dining and sunbathing. It’s a very private location where only the sounds of birds and wildlife will accompany you.

Guests can access the Shepherd’s Hut via a private drive with free parking and ample space for bicycles. Quality linen and towels are provided, but guests should bring their own bath robes and flip flops for the Swedish Bath.

Nature enthusiasts can explore nearby scenic walks, such as Bishops Wood, or take a drive to the Wrekin. There are also numerous cycling routes with charming country pubs along the way. The Swedish bath is available from March to September.

Equestrian visitors can utilise the paddock behind the hut—contact for more details. Nearby attractions include Alton Towers, Iron Bridge, The Wedgewood Centre, Trentham Gardens, Trentham Monkey Park, Go Ape, and Hawkstone Follies. The hut can accommodate one small dog, provided you bring its bed and keep it off the furniture.
