Visitors can explore local walks, lochs, and nature reserves, or visit nearby towns like Aviemore, Fort William, and Pitlochry, just 30 to 40 minutes away by local transport.

The hut itself is fully equipped with a grill, microwave, sink, toilet, and shower. It boasts a comfortable double bed with quality linen and a wool duvet. Guests can enjoy a private garden area, complete with fencing for added privacy. Though the hut offers peace and stunning wildlife views, it is not isolated, as utilities are connected to the main house. The property includes a gated entrance and parking space, offering views of the sunrise to the east, as well as an area to securely lock up bikes. A dog kennel is available upon request.

Guests have access to the entire hut area and can also request access to the 0.8-acre garden. There is a large dog kennel, available for part or all of the stay. Additionally, parking for a motorhome or tourer can be arranged upon request. One well-behaved dog may be allowed, but prior approval is necessary due to the proximity of grazing farm animals. Maps and local information are provided in the cabin to enhance the visitor experience.
