The Orchard Hut at Way Farm offers a luxurious retreat nestled in a historic orchard on the edge of Exmoor, with breathtaking countryside views. Guests can watch pedigree cattle grazing, relax in a wood-fired hot tub under the stars with a glass of locally brewed ale or English fizz, or unwind with a book on a cosy bed. The hut features a homely, warm, and neutral decor with a luxurious double bed dressed in 1000 thread count Egyptian cotton bedding, promising a restful night’s sleep. It includes a bathroom with a full-size shower and provided toiletries.

The kitchen is equipped with an electric hob and full-size fridge, complemented by a welcome pack containing fresh free-range eggs for a delightful breakfast. Enjoy meals on the comfy outdoor seating area while soaking in the scenic views. A private, designated parking space under the garage provides safe and secure parking, with an 80-metre woodchip path leading to the hut.

The hut is available for guests to enjoy all year round; however, the presence of farm animals in the surrounding fields varies seasonally. A farm tour can be requested to see the cattle from November to March. The wood-fired hot tub takes about three hours to heat, and robes are provided for guests staying more than one night. A charcoal BBQ and utensils are available, but it is recommended to pre-book meals at local eateries as many are closed on Monday evenings.

The property does not allow pets. For special occasions, decorations and additional amenities can be arranged at an extra cost. The check-out time is strictly 11 am to facilitate timely turnarounds.
