The hut offers a comfortable bedroom with a stunning view of Assaroe Lake and multiple sitting areas. Despite its proximity to the main house, it is secluded and nestled in the woods, providing a tranquil escape from the hectic pace of life. The room lacks a television and WiFi, but includes a radio for entertainment. Kitchen facilities are basic, comprising a small oven, two electric rings, and essential kitchenware, along with a BBQ set. A simple continental breakfast is provided. Pets are accepted only after consultation with their owners.

The hut features a king-sized bed, and is well-heated and cosy regardless of weather conditions. The bathroom is standard-sized with necessary amenities. Outdoor spaces are exceptional, featuring two private decking areas by the lake, and another shared one. A pit fire can be lit on the main jetty weather permitting. Guests can watch red squirrels and potentially spot a kingfisher or an otter.

Surrounding activities include close-by beaches, hiking trails, horse riding, surfing, and golf in nearby Bundoran. Fishing for trout and pike is also available on the lake. Two bicycles are provided for guest use. A list of recommended restaurants and pubs is available in the hut.

Guest access is through a garden path, and guests can enjoy the surrounding garden and lake jetty. New seating areas overlooking the lake are for the exclusive use of guests. Reservations require adequate identification on profiles. Pets are allowed only after consultation.
