The Black Shack is a luxurious tiny house retreat situated behind Bancran School, our family residence, in a tranquil locale. Designed for relaxation, the open-plan living space includes soft leather sofas and a wood-burning stove, perfect for unwinding after a day of local exploration—or perhaps a soak in the private hot tub.

Ideal for two guests, but welcoming to families upon request, the tiny house is meticulously equipped for a comfortable stay. The interior features a combined kitchen and living area, two finely finished double bedrooms—one located upstairs—and a bathroom complete with a reclaimed Belfast sink and an electric shower. The kitchen is fully stocked with a gas hob, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, and all necessary cooking utensils. Guests are greeted with a complimentary breakfast pack containing local pancakes, crisps, tea, coffee, cereal, and milk. The living area also boasts a dining table and box window seating.

Externally, the property offers private parking and a personal spa hot tub with a waterfall feature. Guests have access to the communal Gin Tin, which houses a large Weber BBQ, pizza oven, sports TV, and dining facilities. A gym area in the garage is also available for use during the stay.

The Black Shack is located 3 miles from Draperstown, a small town with grocery shops, bars, and cafes. Additional properties on site include The Hen House, The Pod, and The Loft, all of which share a quiet time policy post-10pm to ensure comfort for all guests.
