Atlantic Bay Rest’s Bird Nest offers a unique glamping experience perfect for nature enthusiasts. Situated atop a cliff with breathtaking views of the sea and mountains, this rustic wooden hut allows guests to immerse themselves in the simplicity of outdoor living. The accommodation is basic, featuring a bed, a shelf-side table, and a small electric heater, with one wall composed mainly of windows to maximise the stunning vistas. Outside, guests have access to a sink, a large table with benches, and a BBQ area (bring your own wood or coal).

Amenities include an outdoor hot shower on the path to a private beach, with an alternative indoor shower available at the host’s house upon request, particularly in winter. The toilet is a short, lit-up walk away. For those desiring more comfort, the Dream Suite offers an ensuite bathroom.

Guests have full access to the grounds and gardens, with additional facilities such as the Galley common room, which includes a kitchenette, TV, and WiFi. The Galley also features musical instruments and a stunning sunrise view. A private boat ramp and kayaks are available for guest use under good sea conditions, with life jackets provided.

For relaxation, a sauna overlooking the private beach can be booked for an extra fee. Each guest is allocated one car parking space. The property encourages eco-friendly practices, providing recycling bins and environmentally kind hygiene products.

Important to note, the Bird Nest is no longer pet-friendly due to previous infractions of pet rules. However, the Dream Suite and Bungalow remain options for guests with pets.
